Raipur: Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Religion Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal said on Saturday that the Brahmin community is the only hope which can save the Indian culture and civilization from degradation, said a report.
Speaking at a function in Raipur, the minister said the Brahmins are the sole custodians of Indian values and are the lone hope to save it from degradation.
“Our rituals and ancient culture is witnessing a rapid degradation. In such a situation, the Brahmin community is the centre of our hopes and can play a crucial role in checking this degradation,” Brij Mohan Agrawal added.
He also claimed that every intellectual, who is concerned about the protection of religion and culture, is aware that the Brahmin community is capable of carrying forward Indian culture and traditions.
The minister also urged people to learn from ancient practices when religion played a crucial role in deciding the governance of a state.
