New Delhi: Days after he was allegedly caught on camera for hate remarks, BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh Swami Sakshi Maharaj was at it again. “Why are there different codes for Madrasas and schools? Madrasas should also teach the same things rather than teach terrorism,” Maharaj has told ANI.
The Unnao MP went a step further to say, “Why don’t madrasas hoist the Indian flag on national holidays? Why are there different rules for them?”
A few days ago, a video featuring the BJP leader had surfaced wherein he reportedly delivered a hate speech in Etah. A fresh controversy has erupted in Uttar Pradesh with a BJP leader reportedly issuing a hate speech which may further aggravate the tensed communal situation in the state.
Swami Sakshiji Maharaj, a sitting Lok Sabha MP from Unnao consitituency in Uttar Pradesh, has reportedly labelled the madarsas as a hub of terror and that ‘love jihad’ prospers through such institutions.
