Kollam, 9 March, Sreeparvathy K.: Congress led UDF and CPI(M) led LDF are after RSP to appease them and make them ally. CPI(M) welcomed RSP back into LDF, even promising Kollam seat to them. KPCC President VM Sudheeran said that Congress high command gave permission to have talks with RSP and invite them to UDF.
The Kollam District Secretariat of CPI(M) announced that the State leaders of the party made a mistake of not valuing RSP’s strength in Kollam and also in calculating UDF’s interest in RSP.
Meanwhile, RSP Clarified that they will not go back to LDF even if they are granted Kollam seat. “We are in no way of reconsidering our decision to leave LDF. LDF did not consider our demand for Kollam seats twice and we had informed that RSP will leave the front if our demands are not met,” said RSP State Secretary AA Aseez.
