Loksabha seat sharing still a headache for UDF

Loksabha seat

SJD demanded the Vadakara constituency, but the Congress declined it on the ground that it is not giving the sitting seats to the allies.

KPCC had a discussion with Palakkad District Congress Committee on its opinion on giving Palakkad seat to SJD. Congress considers providing Palakkad or Attingal constituency to SJD against its demand for Vadakara or Wayanad seat.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala had asked Congress President Sonia Gandhi to provide Vadakara constituency to SJD. Congress is also having discussions with the Kerala Congress(M) group on the Loksabha seat sharing.
