Times have changed now and females are playing equally important roles in deciding the destiny of their fellow citizens across the world and they have proved beyond doubt that they are second to none in terms of talent and merit.
Female politicians have brought with themselves an element of beauty and glamour into the world of politics that was always supposed to be a serious business that had nothing to do with glamour and fashion.
ome of these female politicians are not only intelligent but they are awesomely beautiful as well. They are very conscious of their looks and appearance and they have added glamour to the world of politics.
We have moved past the time when politicians preferred to dress up in simple attires so that they looked sober as was generally expected from a politician. Fashion, slowly but surely, has made a successful foray into the world of politics.
Some of the most successful female politicians are so gorgeous that even film stars will fade away in comparison.
1. Nina Siakhali Moradi’s beauty is beyond words. She is a woman with immense courage. Nina advocates upliftment of women in a country that is not just dominated by men but also suppresses progress of women.
She is an architect and website designer turned politician. Nina was disqualified from taking a seat in a city council for being too beautiful.
She won the city council elections in Qazvin, Iran in 2013. Her vote count of 10,000 placed her 14th among 163 candidates. Nina’s election campaign was based on the platform of “Young Ideas for a Young Future,”.
Candidates with highest number of votes are by default given seats in the council. But Nina Moradi was denied the seat. She was accused of not following Islamic norms in her campaign.
One of the officials had said, “We don’t want a catwalk model in the council”. The review board nullified her votes as they didn’t approve of her credentials.
2. Sethrida Tawk Geagea is a Lebanese politician. She belongs to the famous Maronite Lebanese Tawk family of Africa. She was born on 15th May, 1967.
Sethrida began her political career through student politics while she was enrolled at the Lebanese American University.
In 1994 her husband, an imminent member of the Lebanese Forces Party was imprisoned, she challenged and fought for her husband’s release for over eleven years until the Syrian forces withdrew form Lebanon and her husband was freed.
She emerged as a leading figure in Lebanon force and participated in elections. She is a member of the Lebanese Maronite League.
3. Luciana Milagros Leon Romero is a Peruvian politician. She was born on 30th June, 1978. She hails from a political family. Her father Romulo Leon Alegria was an eminent politician of Peru.
This beautiful lady has attained a degree in Law from the University of Lima. She entered politics at a very young age. By the time she was 14 years old, she was made the General Secretary of Aprista Party’s youth wing.
She testified during the investigation of the 2008 Peru oil scandal after her name came up in e-mails indicating she was involved in the affair.
She was named as the world’s most beautiful female politician in 2009 though an international internet poll.
4. Yulia Volodymyrivna Tymoshenko is considered one of the most beautiful politicians in the world and her braid has attracted quite a lot of attention.
Yulia is the former Prime Minster of Ukraine. She was born on 27th November, 1960 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR (now Ukraine).
She is a leader with beauty and brains.
Yulia Tymoshenko was one of the leaders of Orange Revolution in Ukraine. In 2005 Forbes magazine listed her as the 3rd most-influential woman of the world.
On December 18, 2007, Yulia Tymoshenko was elected as the Prime Minister of Ukraine from the Democratic coalitions BYuT and NU-NS.
A Local district court on October 11 found her guilty of “abuse of power during the signing of gas agreements with the Russian Federation in January 2009”. She was sentenced to seven years in prison with a three-year ban on holding office.
European and world leaders, Heroes of Ukraine, representatives of the intelligentsia and Ukrainian diaspora worldwide expressed outrage over the actions of the Ukrainian government, the biased trial, obvious signs of politically motivated prosecutions and selective justice in Ukraine.
On July 15, 2013 the European Court of Human Rights announced the start of its review of Yulia Tymoshenko’s second application on the unfairness of the trial in the gas case.
On February 22, 2014 Yulia Tymoshenko was released from prison following the overthrow of Yanukovych’s regime. The court also unfroze Yulia Tymoshenko’s assets.
5. Ruby Dhalla is an actor-turned -Canadian politician of Indian origin. She is also a qualified Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.
In 2008, she was ranked 3rd as the World’s Hottest politician in a New York based magazine on lifestyle.
Ex- Canadian MP, Ruby Dhalla had contested the 1993 Miss India – Canada pageant and grabbed the second position.
Ruby was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Punjabi immigrants hailing from Mullanpur near Chandigarh. At the age of 10, she wrote a letter to the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in support of the government’s stand on demand for a separate Sikh state. She questioned demands of people to form a new State.
Ruby also asked Indira Gandhi to resolve the issue without violence during the 1984 Sikh Riot. Indira Gandhi had read out her letter at a press conference and it is then that the world turned its attention to Ruby Dhalla.
Ruby graduated in biochemistry with a minor in political science from the University of Winnipeg. In 1995, she joined the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and became the Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine in 1999.
After this, she stepped into politics. She was one of the first Sikh women to serve in the Canadian House of Commons. She contested elections in 2004 and won as a member of the Liberal Party.
6. Yuri Fujikawa has been referred to by bloggers as being “too beautiful to be a politician” and who was voted “World’s Most Beautiful Politician” in an online survey held by Spanish newspaper.
Yuri Fujikawa contested for and won the Hachinohe city council elections when she was 27. A motorbike lover, Fujikawa graduated from Teikyo University, Japan and followed her father’s steps into politics.
She was born in 1980. After graduation from Teikyo University, she started to work in an institution of caring old people for a few years.
When she turned to be 27, her father tried to win at the election to be a member of the assembly but he failed. Then, she announced to stand as a candidate for member of city assembly after her father’s fail.
7. Ayla Malik is another Pakistani beauty. She is a journalist cum politician. Ayla is an important member of Pakistan Tehreek – e – Insaf.
She belongs to a political family. Ayla Malik is the niece of former President of Pakistan, Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan. She is also the grand daughter of Malik Amir Mohammad Khan, former governor of West Pakistan.
Ayla is often rumored to be in relationship with cricketer – turned politician Imran Khan, who heads PTI. Ayla Malik even supports him in his election campaigns.
As a journalist she anchored a program called Situation Room on Dunya News (this show was based on current affairs).
8. Orly Levy-Abekasis is a politician from Israel. She is a member of the Knesset for Likud Israel Beiteinu. Orly was born to David Levy who too was a politician and former Foreign Affairs Minister of Israel.
Orly Levy was born on 11th November, 1973. Before entering politics she was a model and also worked with the media as a TV host.
Her decision to enter politics was ridiculed by many people.
“This would be like Paris Hilton going to the Senate,” says filmmaker Etgar Keret. “You could make a reality show about this.”
The strength of a woman is incomprehensible. Since 2013 she has been the Chairman of the Committee for children’s rights at the Knesset. Orly has worked with the Israel air force and also has a degree in law.
9. Julia Bonk was elected to the Parliament of Germany at the age of 18, thereby becoming the youngest Member of Parliament in Germany.
A newspaper in Germany counted that 87 international papers printed her picture. She is a member of Left party.
She is known for her good looks. Julia also is excellent with both French and German.
From 2004 till 2009, Bonk was member and Vice-Spokeswoman of the parliamentary committee on School and Sport and member of the committee on Science and University, Culture and Media.
Since 2009 she is a member of the committee on Legal Affairs, the Constitution, and Europe.
10. Maria Rosaria Carfagna is considered the most beautiful and hottest politician of the world. She is an Italian model cum showgirl – turned politician.
Maria worked for many years as a model before entering politics.
She entered politics in 2004, and became responsible for the women’s movement in the political party Forza Italia (presently The People of Freedom).

11. Angela Gkerekou is a Greek architect, actor and politician. She was the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport in the government.

13. Sharmila Farooqi is a Pakistani politician. She served as an advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh from September 2008 till January 31, 2011.
She is the granddaughter of N M Uqaili and daughter of Usman Farooqi, who was a bureaucrat and a former Chairman of Pakistan Steel Mill. Farooqi is the niece of Salman Farooqi, a well-known confidante of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Farooqi earnt a master’s degree in business administration from the Adamson Institute of Business Administration and Technology, Karachi and a master’s degree in law.
Sharmila Farooqi is presently minister of Culture in Sindh. Sharmila is renowned for her beauty.
14. Maryam Nawaz Sharif is the daughter of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. She is a political central figure in the Pakistan Muslim League.
Born on 28 October 1973, Maryam is now active in politics and assists her father in his party work.
She plays crucial role in all important decisions of his father’s party PNL-N.
Born in Lahore, she graduated from Convent of Jesus and Mary school and after that she earned master’s degree from the same institution.
since 1997, Maryam Nawaz has been the chairperson of Sharif Trust, founded by her grandfather Muhammad Sharif, Sharif Medical City and Sharif Education Institutes.
She is married to captain Safdar who is also a politician.
It is said that Nawaz Sharif agreed for this marriage after their relationship public.

15. Anna-Maria Galojan was born on 23rd February, 1982. She is a politician from Ireland. She had also tried her hand in films.

16. Dimple Yadav: This beautiful politician is the wife of Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

17.Hina Rabbani Khar is the former Foreign and Finance Minister of Pakistan. She hails from an influential feudal family. Hina was born on 19th November, 1977 to Ghulam Noor Rabbani who too was a powerful politician in Pakistan.
Gorgeous Hina was the first female Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
