New Delhi, 26 June-2014, FP: Having completed a month in office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today shared his experience as the country’s topmost executive by saying that there are definite areas where improvement is due.
“I feel there are areas where surely we need to improve,” Modi said.
The prime minister also took exception to the intense criticism that his government faced within a short span.
“Series of allegations began in less than 100 hours but when one is working with sole aim of serving nation, these things don’t matter. There have been some instances in the last month with which our government had nothing to do yet these controversies have persisted,” Modi said.
“Big challenge in Delhi is to convey to a select group of people about our sincerity, they are within, outside govt system,” the prime minister said.
The Modi-led NDA government had to power following a massive electoral victory in May.
