The policemen allegedly took turns to rape her. One of them is said to have filmed the gruesome incident. The victim was reportedly made to shell out Rs. 40,000 for absolving her of the charges.

After the rape victim was given bail, she managed to lodge an FIR at the same police station. “However, all that has been done is that the three accused have been shifted to another station,” she told reporters here on Tuesday.

The victim’s medical examination confirms sexual assault. The victim had come from Mumbai and was on her way to the Ajmer Dargah when their auto-driver picked up an argument with some policemen. When she intervened, a constable reportedly made obscene remarks. When she and her companions objected, they were all taken to the police station and brutally beaten up one by one.

When her turn came, she was taken into the SHO’s room and sexually assaulted. The victim was warned that she would be implicated in a drug trafficking case if she reported the matter to their seniors.
