Agra, March 1, Sandipan Sharma: A talking parrot has helped the police to break the instance of its escort’s homicide after it “recognized” the asserted executioner.
Neelam, wife of a nearby Hindi daily paper manager Vijay Sharma, was discovered killed at her home in Balkeshwar settlement here on February 20, police said.
While the police were searching for the executioner, Sharma noted a change in the conduct of their pet parrot at whatever point his nephew, Ashutosh Sharma Goswami, went to the house.
“It sulked each time Ashutosh passed its pen,” Sharma’s sibling Ajay said.
Developing suspicious, the victimized person’s family begun taking names of conceivable associates in front with the parrot. The point when Ashutosh’s name was taken, the parrot began yelling ‘Usne maara, Usne maara’ (He has murdered), Ajay said.
The family then educated the police, who took Ashutosh into care. On addressing, Ashutosh admitted to the wrongdoing.
Ashutosh told police that in addition to his associate, Ronny Massey, entered Sharma’s house and constrained Neelam to hand over money and assets at the purpose of a knife.
