Siliguri, January 27, Rimo Bose: It is come report that just prior to the Republic day, a Nepali man has been caught with explosives close to the border of India-Bangladesh, specifically at Jalpaiguri.
The Border security force suspected the tuck licensed under Nepali registration, at Phoolbari area. This led to search of the truck and arrest of the man carrying the ammunition. It was revealed that the man was concealing the explosives inside the truck. Upon the arrest of the man the ammunitions are sent for forensic investigation and the local police are now keeping the man under their custody.
Rajesh Gupta, the BSF Deputy Inspector General of North Bengal Frontier, has advanced to seal the border on the republic day. After inspecting the attire and appearance of the man it is suspected that the Kamtapur Liberation Organization might be one of the suspects. Previously several were killed and injured by the explosion of bombs in the area. So even after the republic day the border security is asked to remain alert. Keeping in mind the previous disasters special teams of Sashastra Seema Bal have been disposed in the area.
