New Delhi, 26 May-2014: Now it is final and speculation is over that Senior BJP leaders Jual Oram, Dharmendra Pradhan to take oath today as minister in Narendra Modi Council of Ministers. Both the senior leaders from the Odisha find the place in Narendra Modi’s list of Council of Ministers.This was confirmed by the party officials in New Delhi.
Senior BJP leader Jual Oram to be Cabinet minister, dynamic youth leader Dharmendra Pradhan to be Minister of State in Narendra Modi’s Council of Ministers.
Sources said 24 Cabinet ministers and 11 ministers of state are expected to be sworn in this evening. It should be noted that Narendra Modi, who led BJP to an astounding victory in the Lok Sabha polls, will be sworn in as the Prime Minister on Monday in the forecourt of the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan at a grand function to be attended by foreign dignitaries including SAARC leaders.
BJP national vice-president Jual Oram emerged victorious in the prestigious Sundargarh Lok Sabha seat with a safe margin of 18,829 votes, thereby defeating BJD Rajya Sabha member Dilip Tirkey and former chief minister Hemanand Biswal.
The former union cabinet minister Oram who had retained the Sundargarh Lok Sabha seat from 1998 to 2009 restored his lost glory after a hiatus of five years and almost likely to get ministerial berth in the Modi Government at the Centre.
Dharmendra Pradhan, the national general secretary of the party and a Rajya Sabha member from Bihar. Pradhan is close to Narendra Modi. He has been the party in charge in important states like Bihar, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and he was also Election in Charge Uttarakhand and Bihar. Party central leadership always noted his organizational skills.

President Pranab Mukherjee will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the 63-year-old Modi and his Council of Ministers in the presence of a host of leaders, including outgoing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi, besides leaders of various other parties and Chief Ministers of a number of states.
