Ramgarh,Jharkhand, 24 February-2014, Stephen Marandi: There were a temple and a mosque at Kankebar on NH -33 but both are lifted by the Hindu and Muslim community themselves on Sunday. During this time, there was an atmosphere of brotherhood and unity. Both communities say that they did so to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood to show the same rest of the nation.
The Idol installed in the temple of Kali goddess are worshiped in Damodar river and the Holy Qur’an is placed in the Kankebar resident Shahzad Khan’s house. As the district Administration has given ultimatum to remove the two religious places before 24th February.
Sunday 11 am Anjuman committee member, Shahzad Khan, Mukhtar Ahmed, MO. Mumtaz Khan Noori Masjid were arrived the mosque premises and opened dome, later the mosque Deleted from the NH33. The mosque was removed by the help of other resident of Muslim community. Anjuman mosque committee were handed over to the wreck. The whole process took an hour in the presence of a large number of security forces and administration officials.
On the other hand , the Kali Temple of Kali was removed at around 12 noon by following venerated. The head of Murramkla Archana Mahto, Damodar Mahato, Rannjay Kumar Patel chintamani, Dwarka Prasad and others were present on this removal process. The idol was immersioned in the Damodar river around 4.30 PM.
Local MP Yashwant Sinha thanked both communities for solving the issue via conversation as both communities were willing to creating an atmosphere of mutual removal of the religious sites. It has pronounced a good message for rest part of the country.
