Bhubaneswar, 10 May-2014, Abhijit Saha: The Government of Odisha has launched e-PMS which is a new online project monitoring system. Chief Secretary J K Mohapatra has launched the project.
Introducing the system Mohapatra said that the monitoring system will raise and restore the confidence of the investors. The Investors can raise their quest through this system and get prompt reply towards resolution of their problems.
He said that e-PMS is an online Project Management System which has been developed by the CCI Cabinet Committee on Investment (CCI) Project Monitoring Group (PMG) for the state. This system has been created for fast tracking of industrial as well as infrastructure projects with investments in the range of Rupees one hundred crore to Rupees one thousand Crore.
He also said that the system will computerize the tracking of all slowed down and incomplete projects in the perspective of bottlenecks. The system incorporates services for online submission of projects, manipulating and updating them, re-evaluating the projects and submission of facts relating to bottlenecks, if exist.
The system helps in the preparation of a variety of graphical reports and tracking of actual investment in case of the resolved projects. The system is made investor friendly and would automatically remove duplicate as well as non reliable records. Any private business visionary or any department or ministry who are keen to begin a project or resolve bottlenecks of any project can register through the website cabsec.gov.in / cabsec.nic.in.
