Bhubaneswar, 4 May-2014, Abhijit Saha: The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik will return to Bhubaneswar from his tour to New Delhi today. He was earlier scheduled to return Odisha on 30th April will probably reach Bhubaneswar today.
Sources from the BJD said that the Patnaik have overexert himself during the campaigning for election and has been advised by the doctor to take rest before beginning any fresh innings.
A source from the State Secretariat said that although EC has relaxed the model code of conduct in the state allowing resuming of developmental activities, Patnaik’s absence has created some problems in going about the usual official business.
The source also said that the CM utilizing his holiday at New Delhi to reconnect with his old friends in other parties including Congress and the BJP. They also said that Patnaik is chalking out different strategies for different possibilities that may come after the poll result on 16th May.
