Bhubaneswar, 1 May-2014, Abhijit Saha: An irregularity in evaluation of HSC papers of Odisha Matric Examination displeases students. Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha has decided to address the problem soon.
Lots of complaints have been received regarding the valuation of Sanskrit papers of HSC 2014. So yesterday the school and mass education department have decided to ask for re-evaluation of the Sanskrit paper of the distressed students.
In reply, Usha Padhee who is the school and mass education secretary has stated that she came to know of the dissatisfaction over some wrong valuation in the Sanskrit paper. She said that steps have already been initiated to ratify that.
She also said that the disappointed students can lodge complaints within 3 days and they would be given revised certificates along with other students. Yesterday after the declaration of HSC results, a number of students and their guardians throughout Odisha expressed their utter dissatisfaction over the poor evaluation of Sanskrit paper. The disappointment of the students and guardians has spoiled the merrymaking of the BSE officials who were happy to have declared the HSC results in time.
