Odisha, February 20, Abhijit Saha: The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik will be laying the foundation stone for ‘Tata Medica Hospital’ at two places Kalinganagar and Gopalpur today.
Medica Group of Hospital is based in Kolkata. The group has tied up with Tata Steel to set up super speciality hospitals at two locations in Odisha. For this purpose Tata Steel has signed an agreement with Medica group of Hospital. One of the locations for setting up of super speciality hospitals will be in Kalinganagar and the other location will be at Gopalpur in Odisha.
The Super speciality Hospital that is supposed to be set up in Gopalpur will have a capacity of 500 beds and for this hospital a total of Rs 300 crores would be invested. The super speciality hospital which would be set up in Kalinganagar will have a capacity of 200 beds.
For the proposed hospital in Gopalpur 40 acres of land and for the Kalinganagar hospital 10 acres of land has been assigned. These hospitals are expected to be completed within duration of one and a half years.
