China stole the title for the largest market for gold


London, February 19, Sandeep Rajput: The world’s largest gold consumer India was stripped of the title. China in 2013 for the first time in the world ‘s largest market for gold. London-based World Gold Council (WGC), according to data released on Tuesday by China gold demand compared to the same period last year, with 32 per cent of the new record reached 1,066 tons .

India ‘s gold demand in 2014 is estimated to be around 1,000 tonnes . In 2014, demand in China is expected to be around 1,100 tonnes .
