793 children dies from snake and scorpion bites in Asaram schools; notice issued


Maharashtra, February 19, Sandeep Rajput: Since 2001, nearly 793 children in Asaram schools in Maharashtra has died.

Taking seriously the sudden death of children Parliamentary Committee directed the Ministry to take punitive action in case. Asaram running schools in tribal areas of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Social Justice and Empowerment has prepared a detailed report.

Asaram schools 793 children died during 2001-2002 and 2011-2012. Snake and scorpion bites deaths , resulted from minor infections . According to the preliminary investigation committee after the Maharashtra government schools Asaram suspended 74 employees.

Departmental action against 28 employees and 39 show-cause notice was issued. 99 employees were let off with a warning. Inadequate considering the action of the State Government Committee has sought a detailed report from the ministry. The Committee recommended that the Ministry sought in this case related report states. And punitive action as necessary.

The committee report said that he is not satisfied with the action. It totally is criminal negligence on the part of school administration. The school administration did not timely treatment of aboriginal children.
