Kashmir unrest: Fresh firing resumes in Poonch a day after seven militants killed

JAMMU: A day after seven militants and a policeman were killed, fresh firing was resumed in Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday morning.


Encounters between security forces and terrorists in Poonch town is underway.

Terrorists are believed to be holed up in a house, and the area has been cordoned.

On Sunday, a policeman Rajinder Kumar was killed in the incident. Two Army jawans, two police jawans and a civilian were also injured.
