Mumbai, 19 April-2014(Bollywoodmantra): Sherlyn Chopra who was formerly known as Mona Chopra is an Indian model and actress becomes infamous for her bold scenes. Chopra was born in Hyderabad,AP,India. She is half Muslim and half Christian as her father is a Roman Catholic and mother orthodox Muslim. She attended Stanley Girls High School and Saint Ann’s College for Women in Secunderabad. It was during college that she entered and won Miss Andhra, a local beauty pageant.
Sherlyn Chopra, who was in Chennai to promote her upcoming Malyalam movie ‘Bad Girl’ is leaving no stone unturned to promote her movie. She has also met all the regional publications in the city and given interviews to promote ‘Bad Girl’. To beat the city heat, she got into a jacuzzi and posted her bikini pics on twitter, which has gone viral. Though her Bollywood career has really not taken off, she does not fail in creating a buzz with her sensational pictures.
Sherlyn alleges that she has just returned from two weeks of shooting for the cover of the Playboy magazine. She will be the first Indian actress to appear on the magazine. It is supposedly an unsaid rule in the industry that all Playboy models have to sleep with the 86-year-old magazine founder Hugh Hefner. But Sherlyn claims that no indecent proposal was made to her in this regard. She has always said that she feels comfortable in displaying her skin.
Sherlyn has supposedly been selected to host the 6th season of MTV Splitsvilla television show. She also released her music single by the name ‘Bad Girl’ last year.
Sherlyn has participated in one of the seasons of Bigg Boss but got evicted on day 27 of the show.
Though Chopra’s Bollywood career has not taken off after insignificant movies like Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game, she keeps herself in news by posting her semi-nude pics on Twitter regularly.
Sherlyn debuted in Telugu film industry with an ‘A’ movie by Aravind. She has even appeared in Kamasutra 3D movie which was directed by Rupesh Paul. The movie was adapted from Vatsyayana’s Kama Sutra literature, which is based on sexuality of humans.
