High five

This Shyamaprasad filmis on relationships. Though the movie has been presented in a simple manner, the complexity of relationships is portrayed realistically. This movie gives Dileep a chance to showcase his acting skills. Mamtha as Anuradha needs to be applauded too.

A still from ‘Arike’

3 Idiots

The three idiots, played by Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi, are the highlight of the movie. It is a well-scripted movie with instances that make the audience laugh their head off. This comedy drama gives the message to pursue one’s passion.

Salt N’ Pepper

It has a story spun out of a dosa (‘Oru dosa undakiya kadha’, says the tagline). This is the love story of Kalidasan (Lal) and Maya (Swetha Menon).

Anurag Basu’s film showcases the life of two differently-abled persons and how one falls for the other. The casting is its highlight. The performances of Ranbir Kapoor as Murphy Johnson and Priyanka Chopra as Jhilmil Chatterjee are simply excellent.

Iyobinte Pusthakam

It has got a strong script, irreplacable cast and cinematography that captures the picturesque landscapes of Munnar. This movie is the best of Amal Neerad.
