In a major development, the Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday arrested in connection with the attack on BJP leader Brijpal Teotia.
Earlier on Friday, the police had detained for questioning six persons including an Uttar Pradesh Police woman constable.
A hundred rounds were fired at the Bharatiya Janata Party leader from automatic weapons, including an AK-47, when he was returning to his house in Kavi Nagar from Rawali village at about 8.30 p.m on Thursday.
He sustained six gunshot wounds and has been admitted to Fortis Hospital at Noida where his condition was reported to be stable.
