They say better late than never and so, a patch-up between Ekta Kapoor and Rohit…
It was to be a song launch that celebrated Jacqueline Fernandez’s dance moves rather than the film’s hero — Tiger Shroff’s. But Jackie was nowhere to be seen at A Flying Jatt’s Beat Pe Booty launch.
She told director Remo D’Souza she was unwell. And it would have been left at that, had she not been spotted hours later at an endorsement event. This askew sense of commitment has not gone down well with Ekta Kapoor, the producer.
Says a source close to the project, “While Remo and Tiger have taken their leading lady’s absence at a crucial song launch in their stride, Ekta is not one to tolerate such snub.” Remo explained her absence with, “Jackie was there at two other cities where the song was released, but got delayed in reaching the venue in Mumbai. She was to arrive by a chartered flight, which got delayed because of the weather. And the press was waiting, so we didn’t want to delay it more.”
