NEW DELHI: Xiaomi introduced the Redmi 3S in China, another Redmi 3 variant. The device will be available in two variants namely 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage at at CNY 699 (approximately Rs 7,000) along with the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage at CNY 899 (approximately Rs 9,000). It will go on sale starting June 16 and will be available via Mi.com. It will be available in grey, silver and gold colour variants.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The device includes expandable storage of up to 128GB via microSD card. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 on top, the device sports 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. It also packs in fingerprint sensor at the back.
Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, GPS, Bluetooth, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and microUSB. A 4100mAh battery completes the package.
