NEW DELHI: LeEco (formerly know as LeTV) has sent out invites for a product launch event to be held on June 8th. Even though the invite doesn’t specifically name what the company will be launching. It is widely speculated that the company will launch the Le 2 and the Le 2 Pro version of the smartphone along with the phablet-sized Le Max 2.
The Le 2 smartphone harbours an all metal frame, a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 403ppi pixel density, a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset clocked at 2.3GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera. Like the Le 1s, its successor is also expected to be released with a budget-friendly price tag.
The larger Le Max 2 sports a 5.7-inch QHD display and the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset. The device is reportedly coming in two variants: 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, it will come with a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP camera front camera. The device will be powered by a 3,100mAh battery and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
