Mumbai:Bold and beautiful, elegant and exquisite, these were the jewellery pieces on display at a magnificent evening hosted by jewellery designer Poonam Soni and BMW Infinity Cars in Mumbai, last Saturday.
Right from breathtaking pieces in the ‘Monochromes’ collection—a one of a kind art collection in jewellery by maestros like Laxman Shreshtha—to the ‘Gaudi Revived’ and the Sistine Chapel-inspired ‘Greek and Egyptian’ collections, each piece on display is a metaphor of supreme craftsmanship, unique design philosophy and a penchant for the finest things in life!
Also on display was a glimpse of Poonam Soni’s 2016 jewellery collection ‘Heritage’, which is a symphony of rare diamonds and precious stones crafted in 18-carat and 22-carat gold. Not only could you feast your eyes on the spectacular collections, but you could also purchase these limited-edition pieces that were up for sale that evening.
Gracing the evening were Asha Raje Gaekwad, Pragyashree Gaekwad, Pankaj Udhas, Laxman Shreshtha, Abha Singh, Shilpi Jatia, Suchitra Pillai, Rashmi Uday Singh and Malavika Sangghvi, amongst others.
Offering an adrenaline rush and staying true to their philosophy ‘A thing of splendor is a joy for forever’, BMW added a generous dose of splendour to the evening by showcasing a range of cars from their luxury repertoire.
