Pace legend Wasim Akram has said that he would be 'thrilled' to witness a 'lefties'…
New Delhi: Former Pakistan Test captain and great Wasim Akram was allegedly heckled and forced to cut short his post-match analysis during a LIVE cricket debate on Aaj Tak television last night.
The shocking incident from Mumbai was caught on camera during which Akram is seen getting up from his seat after some persons allegedly asked him to leave.
Vikrant Gupta, the anchor of the show was left surprised and had no clue why the cricket expert was forced to leave the debate in between. However, Gupta tweeted later on to give an unconvincing explaining that a “few people just objected to the cameras there”.
Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal this morning condemned the incident saying it was terrible to know what has transpired with the former speedster.
The occurrence during the Live broadcast drew sharp reactions from Pakistan as well.
Akram did not comment on his abrupt exit from the TV show but he tweeted on Sunday night about “ceasing all work commitments tonight” due to blasts targeted against Christians in Lahore . “My heart is with my hometown. Stay strong #Lahore,” a line from his tweet read.
