2. Desi Rambo is a part of Original Entertainment’s five-picture deal with Millennium Films for Bollywood remakes.

Looking to bridge the gap between Bollywood and Hollywood, Original Entertainment sold the rights of five films to be remade in Hindi. The other four are The Expendables, 16 Blocks, 88 Minutes and Brooklyn’s Finest.
3. Hrithik, who is busy with projects like Mohenjo Daro and Kaabil, will begin work on the film only after wrapping his prior commitments.

“Hrithik will take some time to prepare for the role. He will need to invest efforts to bring the iconic character to life. He is already the Greek god of Indian cinema, known for his toned physique, it shall not be a very daunting task for him to get into the shoes of Sylvester Stallone.”

4. Actors like John Abraham, Vidyut Jamwal and Sidharth Malhotra were being considered for the role of John Rambo. But Hrithik was always the first choice for the makers.

5. The Indian Rambo will be a remake of First Blood (1982), the first of the series, also known as Rambo.

We’ll have to wait and see if the makers are planning to adapt the remaining four. Watch this space for more. Till then, let curiosity kill you! *wink
