Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s success with The Great Indian Diet, a book she co-authored with nutritionist and health coach, Luke Coutinho has ensured that she has an offer to write two more books by the publishing house that launched her first book. She is, however, going solo, from hereon, sans Luke.
Within the next year
Says a source, “She has to complete them within the next year and both books will be on food and wellness — topics she loves and is well-versed in. For her, it was never about wanting to become a writer… she was happy jotting down notes and doing research which finally got compiled into The Great Indian Diet.”
According to the source, “While Shilpa is readying herself to complete the two books, her first book will be translated into Hindi and Marathi and will release in India in the next six months. The Great Indian Diet has had a 65,000-copy run so far and soon releases in Dubai, United Kingdom and USA by this year. She just wants the book to reach out to as many people as possible as she wants people to be inspired to lead healthier lives.”
