The confusion on whether the actor would be returning for another Bond film heightened upon the announcement that he would be starring in a TV adaptation of Jonathan Franzen’s novel, Purity. Craig announced he will not do another Bond before Spectre released. In an interview to Time Out London, when the British actor was asked about the chances of him playing Bond again, he had said, “Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”
