New Delhi: A girl in Etah was abducted on Monday and killed by four unknown persons who later dumped her body in a field.
According to reports, the B-Tech student from Noida attended a marriage along with her family in Mainpuri from where she along with her mother and brother proceeded to their native village in Etah district.
After deboarding a private bus three kilometers ahead of her village, a stranger offered to guide the family reach their destination as they were unfamiliar with the route. Mid-way three persons known to the man arrived in a motorbike and tried to abduct the girl. Her mother and brother resisted the abduction but were overpowered.
The girl’s family alerted locals who made efforts to search her but unfortunately with no avail found her dead body lying in a field. The body bore cut marks with her throat slit.
Initial investigation has suggested that the men had attacked the family with a motive to loot. Her valuables were robbed off by the kidnappers who are yet to be identified.
“I boarded them in the bus and left the stop with my younger son. My daughter, wife and elder son were attacked by some men after they accosted them. They tried hard to battle the men. Their valuables were looted by the abductors,” Rajpal Yadav, victim’s father said.
Police has not ruled out of a possibility of rape. An appropriate post-mortem is yet to be conducted. A team is formed to nab the culprits
