Joel Paris and Scott Boland have made it to the Australian side. Australia are unbeaten in the last 14 ODIs at home.
On Monday, Australian captain Steve Smith has said that Australia have to be at their very best in order to beat India.
Smith made these comments at a press conference prior to the first ODI which begins in Perth on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Indian ODI captain MS Dhoni confirmed Mohammad Shami’s injury, and said that India would play newcomer Barinder Sran sometime in the series.
The last time the two teams met in an ODI in Australia was in the World Cup semifinal last year, where Australia thrashed India by 95 runs.
Pacer Mohammad Shami has been ruled out with an injury and replaced by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, but India need just one win in the 5-match series to remain No 2 in the ICC ODI Rankings.
