Shahid Kapoor praises Priyanka Chopra: A patchup on the cards for the ex-flames?

Remember how post their break-up, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra even refused to acknowledge each others’ presence at the same venues? Things certainly seemed to have taken a different turn now. Why? Shahid is heaping praises for his ex-flame and Bajirao Mastani star Priyanka for her performance in the period drama. The Shaandaar star also praised the film’s other leading lady Deepika Padukone and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Shahid Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra

The actor posted on Twitter saying

However for Priyanka Chopra, the actor was all praises. Shahid Kapoor who was allegedly in a relationship with Priyanka Chopra parted ways long back. However, the actor had this to say about his ex’s performance and along with Deepika Padukone who played ‘Mastani’ in the film. Previously, even Deepika abnd Ranbir Kapoor have maintained cordial relations with each other post their break-up. And with the banter on Twitter, it’s evident that a patch up is on the cards for Sasha and PC as well.

Priyanka, who worked with Shahid in Kaminey and Teri Meri Kahaani, also wrote

Finally saw bajirao mastani. Magnificent cinematic experience. @RanveerOfficial you sure made your parents proud. Take a bow.

Deepika Padukone also expressed her gratitude for the Shaandaar actor who are yet to share screen space together

Your vision sir is just something else . Inspirational . Go watch it if u haven’t already you all. 👏👏

Shahid is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s period romance drama Rangoon, opposite Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut.

@deepikapadukone ethereal and peaking as an artist in every way.

@priyankachopra in top form. And above all sanjay leela bhansali.

But the big question is- will PC and Shahid go the Deepika and Ranbir way and do more films together? Your guess is as good as ours!
