Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ to release on January 15

Tollywood king Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming film Soggade Chinni Nayana directed by debutante director Kalyan Krishna is in post-production. This is a pure village drama in which Nagarjuna will be seen in a dual role. Actresses Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripati play the female leads in this film.

The title Soggade Chinni Nayana is inspired from a famous song of his father ANR’s superhit film Dasara Bullodu. This family venture is jointly produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and P Ram Mohan. A major portion of this film was filmed in Rajahmundry and a few key scenes were filmed at Ramoji Film City and a 1500-year-old Vishnu temple in Mysore.

The audio launch event of this film has been fixed for December 25 in Hyderabad. A few biggies from Tollywood will grace this gala event which will happen at Shilpa Kala Vedika on the eve of Christmas. The filmmakers are planning to release this film on 15 January as a Pongal treat.
