Guwahati, February 5, Jasmine Ahmed: Chief minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi said on Wednesday the state government already written to the union Home minister seeking a CBI probe into border killings on 29th January, 2014 of civilian in Sontitpur district. The CM appealed to the organization, blocked the highway along the Assam and Arunachal wider protest against the killing. Gogoi said that we are coordinating with the Arunachal government on the issue of arresting the criminal and taking a steps, the blocked must be lifted. 11 people were killed attackers fired indiscriminately Chauldhowa in Sonitpur district of state Arunachal on 29th Jan 2014. 10 people were killed on the spot. 7 people are still missing after this border incident. Gogoi also said that we have completed all the formalities with the Home minister to demand a CBI probe, and I hope that CBI will be taking this incident and investigation well. Gogoi said, “There is a need to set up more border police outpost to stop this incident, and also need to develop road network in the border areas. Into the issue, we have worked out an border action.” Gogoi again said that the government will be appeal to the centre for added nine district under its special assistance scheme for development in the affected areas. CM said that we must take the step for the incident because Tinsukia district added under the scheme and all other anti Indian have now come together in Assam.
