Ranji Trophy: Ravindra Jadeja wicket-less in first game away from home

Playing in his first game away from home, left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja returned wicket-less on the first day of Saurashtra’s Group C Ranji Trophy tie against Services at the Palam Ground in Delhi on Friday. Jadeja, who was picked for the upcoming Test series against South Africa on the back of a whopping 37 wickets in three games in Rajkot, bowled nine overs without any luck on Friday, giving away 29 runs. New ball bowler Jaydev Unadkat stood out for Saurashtra with figures of 6/80, while No. 4 batsman Rajat Paliwal struck 121 as the hosts were bowled out for 254.
