So it has boiled down to the final ODI with both the teams winning one match apiece. Virat Kohli led India’s comeback by scoring a match-winning ton in the last ODI at Chennai and the hosts are looking to avoid the first series defeat against the Proteas in the fifty over format in India. This is the match preview.
Toss is going to be an important factor as it has been in the whole tournament with the team winning it having won all the matches. The pitch is expected to provide pace and bounce and that will be a delight to the Proteas bowlers.
Indians will be again banking on their spinners and would aim to frustrate their counterparts. AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli are expected to play crucial roles in their respective teams’ fortunes.
The only thing that is in favour of the Indians is that they have pulled off victories in important matches far many times than the Africans who have a habit of choking, so it will be delight for the fans all around the world.

The crowd is chanting ‘Sachin, Sachin’ as Dhawan continues to tap around.

Rahane has a hit at a ball slighter shorter than full, but hits straight to mid on.
FOUR. Precarious pull by Rahane, drops just beside midwicket. Gets it past him though, and a four.

Some accumulative batting by India now, but it looks like a losing struggle.

SIX. What a SIX. Good length on middle, just a little short, Kohli has swivelled around magnificently and pulled it over long leg. A beautiful shot.
