Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared his views and ideas with the nation in the 12th edition of Mann Ki Baat on the All India Radio.
Prime Minister Modi had earlier urged the nation to record their voice messages for the next show.
PM has addressed several issues in the past editions of Mann ki Baat. Congress and other opposition leaders had objected to PM’s radio programme, alleging it could influence voters in the run up to the Bihar elections. EC rejected Congress’ plea but the party continues to resent that PM is addressing the nation at a time when the model code of conduct is enforced in Bihar.

Today’s edition was more of a recap of what this unique show has achieved in the last one year. PM Modi again highlighted some of his pet projects like Clean India, forfeiting gas subsidy to help the poor etc.
One important point made by PM Modi was that he has received huge number of positive phone calls amidst a pall of gloom which one often encounters in daily life.
PM Modi says that he has to greatly rejig his schedule to find time for the show. So as of now he will stick to the 1 month format.
