Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play bald (Ghajini-esque) serial killer?

In a career spanning over 15 years, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has carved such a niche for himself in Bollywood that his name adds credibility to the movies he does. What makes his performances stand out is the authenticity he brings to the characters he plays.

The actor, who has recently been praised for his roles in films like Manjhi — The Mountain Man and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, is set to take up another challenging one. He will apparently play the lead character in film-maker Anurag Kashyap’s next, which is reportedly based on the life of serial killer Raman Raghav.

A source close to Nawaz says that the actor has decided to go bald for the film. “Anurag and Nawaz have been talking about this movie for a long time. They mutually decided on Nawaz’s look for the film, and came up with the idea that he should shave his head. The shooting will start this week. In the meantime, Nawaz will try to complete all his pending shoots,” says the source. Talking about Nawaz’s hairstyle, the source adds, “It will be similar to Aamir Khan’s look in Ghajini (2008).”
