Students Of KIIT International School Bags NASA Prize

New Delhi, March 26, Abhijit Saha: Odisha’s KIIT International School’s Grade 8 students bagged NASA Prize for their project Zenith’s Labyrinth. They received the second prize in the Space Settlement Design Contest for school students worldwide. This was organised by the National Space Society of USA in association with NASA.

Six students of the school who received the prize are Nitish Mohanty, Satwik Gadnayak, Abhishek Mahapatra, Saurik Mishra, – Aman Patnaik and Sai Krishanth PM. They worked more than 12 weeks to develop the project.

The futuristic project named Zenith’s Labyrinth is a space colony designed by them has captured the attention of evaluators among 400 others projects from different parts of the world.

The students will be going as delegates to the International Space Development Conference in Los Angeles, USA which would be organized in May 2014.
